I’ll be starting a 1/48 Starfighter and want to swap the kits wing pods for 2 Sidewinders. Does anyone have 2 that they can spare? I’d prefer no tto scratch-build.
Also, are there any websites that post picks of the best models from Nationals?
Can’t help with the sidewinders, but the IPMSUSA website will eventually post the winning models from the Nats.

Check out one of the Hasegawa weapons sets. They have mostly good stuff mixed in with crap that will sit in the spares box forever.
which sidewinders were on the 104? I might have many.

Not sure. They all look pretty much the same to me, esp when they only about 1" long. It would be great if you can spare 2. Just no Sidewinder snakes. Thx. Looking for anything for your active bench ??
If it is going to be a USAF F-104 you will probably need early model sidewinders… Maybe AIM-9Bs?
USAF F-104’s carried the AIM-9B’s. In the late 70’s I saw a PRANG bird with AIM-9E’s loaded. That was just before they converted to the A-7D’s.
I’ll check and see if I have a couple of B’s and get back to you here.
