I ama mech on SH-60Bs for the US Navy, I really want a kit of the SH-60B in 1/48th scale. Does anybody make one with decent detail? Please don’t recomend Italeri, they suck. I’ve never put together a kit from them that was worth a D@#$&^. iF ANYBODY HAS ANY IDEAS PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
Templar, your in luck, Italeri just released (in the US that is) a
1/48th scale SH-60B Seahawk. Well Cobra had a resin kit which was expensive and a limited production run as well. Available at Great Hobbies, Squadron, Scale Hobbies or your local hooby shop now. I have one coming and should receive it on Monday. Been waiting for it for quite awhile since it was announced.
What helo sqdn are you in? I’m with HCS-5 myself out NAS North Island, San Diego. (HH-60H)

I’m in HSL-42 out here at NS Mayport. I was really hoping someone besides Italeri made one, I’ve never gotten an Italeri kit that I liked.
I thought Hasegawa had released one in 1/48 2 or 3 years ago. I could be mistaken though, I don’t build a lot of Hasegawa.
