1:48 scale guns

I want to use hypodermic tubing for guns on my 1:48 P-40. I see that a lot of people use it, but I havn’t seen anyone mention how you cut the stuff without the tubing flattening. I was using a wire cutter and it flattens out the end. Any help would be appreciated!!

I have never tried it but it seems if you had a dremel tool with a good blade, that might work. Just let the blade do the work and let it slowly cut through

Welcome to the Forum. A Dremel tool with a cut off blade works well.

If you don’t have a dremel use a metal file for sawing the tube instead, I like the one with triangular shape.

Try some railway track cutters, they don’t dis shape the metal. i know that xuron make some. But i’m sure that any model shops will stock something similar.
