Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are currently any decent 1/48 scale Liberators (any model) on the market. I see the old kits on eBay, but I never seen new kits in any of the shops I visit.
I was just wondering if I am just missing some kit or if they just aren’t producing them at this time in 1/48 scale. Seems that such an interesting aircraft would have a kit out at such a common scale.

Revell of Germany is releasing a 1/48 B-24 D currently. So far I have only seen them on e-bay coming from Europe but they should be in hobby shops here in the states any day now. They have been in European shops for about a month now. The kit is the Revell/Monogram mold but is still a nice kit, and the only one in the scale.

I’ve never seen a 1/48 Liberator other than the old Monogram (now Revell/Monogram) kit. There’s been lots of pictures in FSM over the years of people “tweaking” the old kit to make something spectacular. Shouldn’t be too hard.
