I need some help. I’m in the process of gathering items for a 1/48 scale diorama in the PTO. I’m using a B-17 and another aircraft, either a Corsair,Avenger,Wildcat or Hellcat in the scene. I have a 1/48 scale Willys Jeep kit but I would like to add a Japanese tank or some other piece of armor to the diorama. Can any one point me to a hobby shop site where I could purchase such a kit or has someone have a kit they would either like to sell or trade?

Look out for kits manufactured by Bandai. E-Bay is probably the best source for those…
Other than that, there are other companies producing 1/48 (or 1/50) vehicles: Frog (I think those are re-release of some Bandai kits), Airfield Accessories (vis Matador Models in the UK), Gasoline, Alby,…
Head over to Hobby Link Japan and do a search on 1/48 Military vehicles.
Most of those kits will be old items featuring motors and can be wired to a control box. (remote controlled) not much WW II though. Throw the motors, gearboxes and controllers into your spare-box.
