Hi All.

Here is my ICM F-51D in South African Air Force collours during the Korean War.It was flown by Lt. Muller of #2 Sqn at K-10 Chinhae.He later became Lt-Genl - the Chief of SAAF.

The tanks were painted yellow to show them as Napalm.This together wit 6 3" rockets and .50 cal were a standard load for SAAF planes in the ground attack role.

2 Sqn Planes were usually in exelent condition and apart from some oil leaks # 328 was no exeption

Decals are a local make.Hope the bare metal “feel” comes out in the pix.I still need to do a little diorama to go with it.

Looks good. That’s a scheme I want to do one of these days.

Thanx for the complements.I will be adding a F-86F-30 Saber in the same collours soon.It was the planes 2 Sqn later flew in Korea.
