Not sure if anyone touched on which is the better G-10 in 1:48. According to Brett Green in a recent Tamiya Mag article, he says it is the old Revell kit # 4532. I picked one up on ebay and he is right…very accurate (with the exception of the pit) with subtle panel lines… I picked it up for a song on ebay for $15.99. I was in Michaels recently and noticed they had a 1:48 Revell G-10…kit # 5253. Being curious, I suspected it was the same as the old kit, so I picked one up by using a 50% off coupon paying a total of $7.53. I compared both kits and wouldn’t you know…it is the same exact kit. So, if anyone is looking for a bagain on a good G-10 in 1:48, check out Michaels, but wait for a coupon.
I plan on getting a True Details aftermarket pit for around $7.00 to spruce it up. Or I just may scratch build.
