I picked this one up at HobbyLobby on sale for $24. It’s definity a re-box of the early 70’s kit. Not one of the best out there but I decided to go forth and create a unique diorama out of it. Airbrushed in Tamiya acrylics and nose art decal by “Gofur Racing Decals”. Surf created using “Water Effects”. The basic gist of this one is a low level skip bomb run against a supply ship off shore from the atoll the B-25 is flying over. Palm trees scaled down to give the visual effect of being around 500’ off the deck. Engines powered by 1.5v mini motors. Exhaust and leaks done with ground up pastels and AK panel liner. Chipping done with silver artist pencil. Pardon the video as I still need to figure out frame rate with my Galaxy phone. Artistic license prevails on this one - enjoy!
fuzznogin, I think that it looks awesome! I love seeing model aircraft in flight and this turned out beautifully. Those “vintage” Revell/Monogram planes of the 70s still hold up to the more modern releases if the modeler applies a little TLC to it. A job well done!

Wow that looks fantastic. Great detailing you did. Water looks great. Want a swim now.
Dang … all that needs is a Baby Shark [:D]

Nice work. That base gives it a great deal of height scale. Very nice work.

Looks good,I like the subtle exhaust stains.
Nice diorama! I know it’s a tropical setting, but the Mitchell buzzing the beach puts me in mind of “Catch-22”.
Yeah, the kit is a classic. Monogram had really hit its stride with this and the other large aircraft kits issued in the mid-70s. It’s always great to see them built up.
I’m glad to see that you’ve worked out posting pictures.
Nice job on the dio.

Nice job!
YOUR B-25 IN ACTION WAS A GREAT IDEA THAT TURNED OUT REAL GOOD. LOVE THOSE B-25s. I’LL BE BUILDING 16 OF THEM IN AN UP COMING PROJECT!
That’s great. I love the forced perspective.
Outstanding work! Each build got a little bit better. [t$t] [t$t] [t$t]

Stay Safe.
That’s a great little scene that you created here! The base is great, and the head on shots with the spinning props and dropping bomb give a true “in action” look. Very nicely done! [t$t]
