1/48 Raiden decals

Hi all!

I’ve decided to re-do my 1/48 Scale Hasegawa J2M3 Raiden. I went a little too overboard with the chipped-paint thing, and I want to strip it and re-do it. :slight_smile:

I’m looking for aftermarket decals, and running out of options. I can’t find the Aeromaster ‘Empire Defenders’ sheets anywhere, checked Squadron, Great Models, Meteor, Sprue Bros., eBay, Google’d until my eyes got crossed. I don’t know of any other aftermarket decals. Help!

Anyone have any ideas? I don’t want to do the Mike Grant ‘captured Raiden’, even though it is pretty cool. Are there any other manufacturers that make a decal sheet for this plane? Anyone want to set me up with something cool out of their stash? I want to finish this model up, I’m desperate, I’d even take original kit decals at this point!

I got the Aeromaster Empire defenders within the last month on Ebay, so don’t give up hope. Is it me or are Japanese decals in 1/48 very hard to get? I was on Aeromaster’s site and I don’t think they had any in stock. Is there no demand for japanese decals so they don’t make them, or is there so much demand you can’t find them?
