1/48 Rafale M

hello everyone!

Here are some pics of my rafale, wich is my first adventure on building
a jet.
I would thank some feedback to improve, cause i´m new to jet building and weathering.

Thanks!

Great looking build. What was the kit like to put together? Any specific problems? I would like to get one of these, which is why I am asking. But I don’t know of anything that you can improve on, cause in my opinion it looks great.

The build looks great. Very nice work.

Regards, Rick

i love the rafale and this is a great looking build.

i have the same question regarding weathering this model. the rafale has just started to enter service, and all the reference photos i found on the net show very clean birds with little to no wear and tear to the paint jobs.

since these are carrier-borne jets, i guess it’s safe to assume that in a couple of years they’ll look as filthy as your average hornet or tomcat. my question is, should a modeler build a clean rafale because that’s what the photos show today? or should he build one with a “projected weathered look in a couple of years”?

Use your imagination!

hello, and thanks for the replies!
The model went together very well until now, with the exception of the wing roots, that caused some problems, but i think that was my fault!
The division of the main fuselage body in upper and lower halves was somehow tricky too!
i think it´s a very funny build!
