Steve, There are some of us here who just LUV Pics!![:P] The more the merrier as we like to say[swg] You are doing an excellent job on this one. How’d ya like working with the Alcad? I too haven;t tried it yet.
Lookin sweet! Once you start spraying alclad, you’ll actually want to do bare metal finishes. I’ve done 3 now and have no fear of doing bare metal like I used to.
You had asked in a previous post about flat over the alclad. I don’t think you want to do that. Maybe someone with more experience can confirm, but I don’t see that doing anything but ruining the finish.
I’m going to do some tests with it tomorrow, i just dont like the idea of a shiny warbird.
Lookin good man! Wait till you reach the 1/32 scale group. I just bought my first 1/32 model(the trumpeter corsair) and I can do so much more detailing it so fun, but takes up alot of time money and paint, well that in hobby that relates to aviation haha!
Cheers,
Brett

Well this is almost done just need to finish off the the wash. thought some of you might be interested in this. I am taking a B&W photography class right now, and i think i found a great way to do a motion prop. Let me know what you think about it. I’ll post details on how I made it in another topic if you all like it. The next pictures will be of the finished bird.

Steve
