Any suggestions for an easy-to-build 1/48 scale military jet fighter? I’ve been away from model-building for a few years and would like to restart with a pretty simple 2 to 3 day project. Tamiya and Hasegawa always seemed quite simple and straightforward. Thanks for any suggestions.
If your looking for easy get a snap together kit but, I dont think your going to find one in 1/48 scale.
Some guys can do it, but I’ve never finished a model in 2-3 days.
A good kit that I’ve recently built is the Revell F-86D Sabre Dog. Very easy, great quality, and doesn’t cost a lot. Highly recommended.
You might try the Hasagawa 1/48 scale F-8E. It almost falls together by itself. It has a simple gull gray over white paint scheme. It builds into a very nice model OOB.
A simple build in 1/48 but spendy is Tamiya’s F-117. The paint job is even simpler but boring.
