1/48 Hobby Boss Me 262 B-1a

Just finished off this one, must say it is a great kit. It is OOB and there are 2 schemes to chose from.

Paints used- Italeri, Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics. Gunze Mr Color and Gunze Mr. Metalizers.
Flory dark dirt wash, oil paint streaking underneath. And Vallejo satin varnish.

Like that paint scheme. We’ll done

I’ve been on the fence as far as adding one to my stash. Looks like I might have to buy one. Looks great!

Oh wow. Kits OOB are pretty impressive these days, detail wise. Very nice build.

Great looking model and paint scheme. Your masking looks very crisp!

Gary

Super nice build. I am really impressed with HB kits and this in no exception.

As usual Grant, you have done a superb job on this great kit. I’m adding this to my long list of wants. TY for posting.

Cheers guys [Y]

Really great job on the 262. Great scheme. A background a little less distracting would set it off even better.

Very cool, and great work on the mottling

Very nice, what colors are those on the wing?

Another beauty, Grant. The open bays and canopy are a nice touch, very realistic display, it’s all well done but I especially like the side mottling, I’m terrible at it. Thanks for the post and photos.

Patrick

I love the camofluflage!

Toshi

Outstanding work! thanks for sharing…

Wing colors are Gunze Mr color 315 and Italeri RLM74

wow - that is stuning.

Nice job on the build what I really like is the paint. I wonder wy the jets still have the early war sharp edge camo type.

I also have a hobby boss 262 its the night fighter version the box art show the 2 fuel drop tanks but not in the instructions or in the box.

Bummer because I liked the look of them.
