From 2022, this is a great little kit, only costs about $30 AUD, and of a beautiful aircraft.

@Grant_Dalzell : You’ve done it once again Grant. I’ve only been a Shooting Star fan for a short bit but after seeing one fly over at an air show a few years ago I developed a new love for these birds. Your NMF work looks REALLY good on this one as does your decaling. She’s a looker and your photography just takes it all to the next level.

@Grant_Dalzell Very nice work on that NMF. I have always loved the look of the P-80 from way back in the late 70s when Monogram released their Shooting Star kit (and which I have built probably no less than 5 times over the years). I have a Hobby Boss P-80 in the stash, I think it’s an A variant. I only hope mine will come out as great as your’s.
