1/48 Heinkel He219 UHU (Pics)

Good day all here is one i finished a few weeks back it the old Tamiya kit and painted with tamiya enamels and built box stock. It was a very easy build just like tamiya, whent together with no problems and no filler was used, on with some pics,

Thanks fo looking

Mike

Very nice build Mike. The Mottle camo came out great [tup].

Regards, Rick

Looks real nice. I finally got this kit(after years of waiting for it to show up on a vendor table…$20) Can’t wait till winter, when I can start building again. This one is on the list for sure.

Nice one, Mike! You sure nailed that one.

Wow… that came out great!

Looks like patience was the order of the day when painting this one!

Very nice model. Good job

VERY nice build! [tup]

Nice work, Mike! Looks like a big model. I’ve got one on the way- glad to hear there are no major issues. Cheers!

WOW Mike… that really looks great. I love the way the bird looks and you really got it right.[tup]

Thank you guys. painting it did take some time but it was worth the effort and time, it is quiet a large model so it takes up a bit of space in your display. i would like to build another but with extras in the cockpit and open up some panels.

Thanks

Mike

Great Job there Mike…nice and clean…as a fan of mottled schemes I approve!![tup]

Problem is now you have tempted me to get the kit, sure would look nice next to my He-177…problem is they may take up too much space!

Carlos

Very well done Heinkel, I like it a lot! Your AB work looks spectacular. [tup]

Looks really good! I always liked that plane.

Does it require some nose weight, and does it come with the kit?

Very well done! [bow]

Thank you guys for the comments, the kit did come with a nose weight the whole cockpit is metal with plastic datail so it a heavy kit.

Thanks

Mike

Very nice looking build Mike. As has been said, the mottle has come out superb. Its so difficult to keep them looking uniform over the whole airframe, but youve nailed it.

I love this plane and am always on the cadge for one.

…Guy

everybody make note of this as a hint of things to come!

I really like the way your build turned out on one of the most fascinating planes planes of WWII. I have the same kit in my stash, and have slowly been add aftermarket kits to planed build. Data seem difficult to come by, but still bits and pieces do turn up at odd times. Lastly the paint job is beautiful
