1/48 Hasegawa Tomcat Question

A friend bought really nicely built 1/48 Hasegawa Tomcat but the rear seat seems to be too tall and won’t let the canopy close properly. Is this a known problem with this particular kit? I also heard that the 1/32 Trumpeter F-8’s seat is too tall and has the same problem.

It’s the tub floor.Check for raised detail.Test fit then if problem still happens then seat has to be lowered by bottom coming w/PWR tool

Typical with 1/32 scale.

Thanks Silver but actually the seats were replaced with resin ones by the original builder. I removed the rear seat and confirmed it’s resin so I need to grind down the bottom just a bit.
