Greg, I get in close with an airbrush with the same diluted XF-69 NATO Black and XF-64 Red Brown mixture cut with 91% Isoprophyl Alcohol (I keep it premixed in a paint jar). I use it in corners, along lines, in crevices around boxes anywhere too add depth. It als gives it a used appearance. It does work better on lighter cockpits though, such as US interior Green and RLM 02 subjects.
