Been awhile since I have worked on something, here is the Great Wall Hobby MiG-29A that will be in Polish Air Force colors.

The start of the build starts in the cockpit, the instructions are like Dragon models where who writes it doesnt have experince buding models… But the kits is so well engineered that it builds really well… EXCEPT the PE sucks and the head rest for the ejection seat is a little cumbersome to put together. I scratched the harness and used the decals guages for the IP.

This kit goes in my top three of all time kits between the Accurate Miniature TBF/M Avenger, Dragon Bf 109. After I complete this I will guage which place it gets in the group.

This is looking really nice, the detail on the plastic is really above par for a 1/48th kit. What Air Force will it be part of when done?

And yes the detail is amazing on this kit. Sprue Brothers has a nice sale going on for this kit, $56.99 sale price, $95 MSRP. I picked up three of these and glad I did. This kit is a gem!

That kit is supposed to be the bees knees, judging from the kit, I can understand why.

Awesome! Love the fact that you can build it up leaving those sprue gates on to protect the antenna(?).!

Very nice progress so far. I’m watching your build as I’ve just bought the 9-13 kit.

How is the fit? I can not see any filler, and this is one of my all time favourites, well the SU-27 and Mig-29 are the two but I really want this kit. So also besides the fit I was wanting to ask what are the decal options?

Keep em coming! Good stuff here. How big is that model anyways. Haven’t seen anything to reference it for scale. Looks like a big plane though.

Fuselage length about the same as a 1/32 Bf109.
