1/48 Grumman E-2C / E-2D - Kit?

I while ago(2006) I read that somone was finally going to come out with a 1/48 scale injection kit. Does anyone know if this is true, if so when and whom?

It’s MPM and the date is yet to be announced, unfortunatly. I am eagerly awaiting this one. Hope it’s worth the wait.
