Does anyone know if a decal sheet for the Blue Angels’ Fat Albert was ever printed in 1/48? If so, where I might find one? I think it’d make an interesting scheme for Italeri’s monster Herc.

Yeah but does it have the JATO stuff with that kit. Don’t forget that FA has JATO to get out of some of the smaller airports that the Blues fly in and out of, plus I think although I have never seen any airshow (I KNOW, I KNOW, I will someday). I also think it is part of the show somehow. So make sure that they have the JATO in the kit or you can get one or make one. As for the decals I have never really looked so I couldn’t tell you. Good luck. Sounds like a fun project.
The fat albert JATO takeoff is the start of the blue angels show. Pretty impressive sight to see a 130 go straight up.
I can’t wait to see my first airshow. I hope I get to see one. Someday. I know someday.
It seems to me that the F-18 is the new airshow posterchild. Every show I go to seems overpopulated with them.
yes super scale made one no.48-629. be prepaired to do alot of masking though as the noso scalaps are not included nor the 1/16th inch blue band above the yellow band (not included) that rune the entire length of the fusalage.
