The appearance of your models look good with regard to construction and finishing, however, what really kills them are certain uncorrected shape and part inaccuracies. Not your fault, I’m gussing you built the Italeri or Non-Hasegawa brand kits? For accuracy, the F-14 is distiguishable from their various “A, B and D” versions by their engines, engine shrouds at the exhaust area, wing-glove vanes, UHF anteane behind the RIO station and other sensors. Also the chin camera pod on the “A, B and D” versions are varied and different. If you are not concerned with these issues for your models, then I would simply say, they look great! They do capture the basic shape of the legendary Tomcat and their finish is attractive, indeed. But If you are looking to add realism and improve accuracy, the above items are a must be corrected if you plan to build another CAT, depending on the version, ie…“A”, “B” or “D” Check the web for reference photos, brouse after-market resin assessories for accurate kit part replacements, and history of the subject. This will help you build a more accurate replica of your favorite subject. Happy modeling! Check out my F-14B article on ARC (Aircraft Resource Center). Yes…you win the prize for the “all time” most pics posted. Your models look great but we could tell by 4 or five photos. Also…I would give them a flat coat.
