Currently building a Zeng Defu 1/48 F-111c as a gift to a family friend.
The kit is really a FB-111 but it makes a better ‘C’ as the detail is all wrong for the FB.
It’s just been futured and is waiting for decals and a panel line wash.
Still a lot of work to do.

Nice looking Aardvark! I have a couple waiting for construction one of these years. Makes for a “big” addition to the fighter collection of the Vietnam era. Looks like an F-4E in the background flying wing. I built the old Fujimi F-4E way back in the 70’s after my tour in Nam. Scratch built some seat details and added canopy hooks. Thanks for sharing!

The F-4 in the background is my technique hack. I got that poor kit as a cheapy and every time I read a new technique that I think could be benificial, the poor old girl comes out to play again. The list of firsts so far-
1st use of acrylics,
1st pre-shade,
1st scrach built detail, (ejection handles + seatbelts)
1st time cutting out any part of the model, (dropped flaps and speedbrake)
1st weathering, (salt chip/ acrylic over enamel tape method.)
Still to do intake and exhaust covers.
