This obscure kit made by Elata comes from Brazil. I absolutely love the lines of this aircraft. This was a difficult build as nearly all the parts had flash and the styrene was very soft. Almost nothing lined up. I also had to scratch build many components such as the cockpit, as well as the plumbing and nozzles for the chemical/pesticide spraying. That was mostly made up of aluminum tubing from K&S. The gear struts are made from bent brass tubing as the original plastic struts would not support the weight. Same goes for the tail wheel–that was all scratch-built. In the end, after lots of choice words, the final results made it worthwhile. She makes a nice addition to my civil aviation collection as it represents the only aircraft using 100% pure ethanol–it does not use Avgas of any kind. Please enjoy the pics.
