1/48 Eduard Hellcat Mk.II Weekend Edition

No. 1844 Squadron, Fleet Air Arm, Sub-Lieutenant W.M.C. Foster, HMS Indomitable, Okinawa, April 12, 1945

First Eduard Hellcat, really good kit on par with their Spitfires and BF-109’s. Painted with Gunze, Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, Vallejo Metal colour and Flory dark dirt wash and Vallejo matte varnish.

Nice work.

I’ve been wanting to pick this one up. Yours looks excellent!

Great job on this and thanks for not over weathering this lol

Very nicely done. Been thinking about adding one of these to the list for a while.

Looks great. Nice to see a Hellcat in Royal Navy livery.

Thanks guys

Most, like myself always see a Hellcat in the typical weathered blue with light gray on it‘s belly. Your Hellcat with a camofluage motif is stunning. And adds a fresh look overall. As for the build, you are building an aircraft that is and always is, fantastic. Looking back on all of your builds, they are all fantastic. Your building technique is so professiona!

Your freind, Toshi
