1/48 Eduard/Hasegawa F-8 Crusader.
-Aires resin engine duct bay
-Plusmodel F-8 Pilot
-Brassin Mk.84 bombs.
The old Hasegawa kit is OK, a lot of ejection pin marks in weird and awkward places that need cleaning up, otherwise the fit is good.
Scheme is VF-162 “The Hunters”, USS Oriskany 1966.

If it’s anything like the old Hasegawa F-15s I’m working on, you’ve done a great job preserving detail while removing the seams and pin marks. Nice job! And great work on the pilot in that scale, too. I really like the understated weathering – even inside the intake!!
My Marine uncle loaded ordnance on these in SEA back in the day. I should narrow down which ships/bases, and make him up a display like this.

Love it @Grant_Dalzell ! From the base to the paint to … is that Pat Sajak piloting the Crusader?
I don’t remember if the instructions mentioned pilot names.
Fantastic looking F-8 Crusader. It truly was the “Last of the Gunfighters”
G_D, that is excellent modeling. Beautiful execution. I love it!
