Great job! Did you freehand the camo? Either way, it will be outstanding when done.
Looks pretty big too…

Man, your beltin’ them out. Didn’t you just finish the Devastator?

Nice to see another Beaufighter in progress. Lookin’ good. Nice desert color scheme. Aren’t Tamiya kits great! I actually felt guilty using glue on mine things fit so well together. Nice to see you using the pilot and gunner.

I opted out on using the figures on mine. In the process of painting my Beaufighter in its RAF Sea Gray and RAF Dark Green scheme now. I have to paint the copper on the nacelles and exhausts yet, and I’ll be up to where you are.

Woodspider, what did you use to thin the Tamiya acrylics with? Also, what ratio did you use? Pics look great btw!

Nice to see desert Beaufighter, It is nice to see a subject that there are not there"every day" no offence to anyone please.

Hey Wulf…Yes I`m the one that just finished the Dev. Thanks for the comments

oh yes and wulf I did the camo freehand, infact I`ve never done them any other way.

Hey Trafford, I tried once again for the first time Tamiya Acrylic thinner. I clean my airbrush with just regular rubbing alcohol. I think you could use 90% Alcohol for thinning and would get great results with Tamiya paint… I`ve tried it with MM and not real happy with the flow. As far as ratio I just try to get the look of thr thickness of milk.

Wow, great job! That kit is next on my bench, and your pictures have inspired me to do the desert scheme rather than the RAF Ocean Gray/Dark Green scheme I thought I would do.

Woodspider: Great job on the paint application. What did you use to thin the Tamiya acrylics? The Beaufighter is definately a neat plane, one that I’d like to learn more about. Keep posting pics as you finish.

Well done on the camo. I like the way it looks

Nice job, looks like a winner. I thought I used to hate Tamiya paints, now, after some experience with them, I love’m. Can’t wait to see her done.
