1/48 Beaver Float Plane

I bought a Hobbycraft of Canada 1/72 Beaver… what can I say. And to think some people dislike Monogram/Revell so I had a set of drawings for the Beaver and grabbed a block of Basswood and started carving. I made decals for the I.D.numbers on my computer with decal paper. (Another learning experience) I know it doesn’t have all the detail that plastic does but I’m happier with it than the Hobbycraft kit.

I’m sure I’ll get this right sooner or later.

Its carved! [bow][4:-)][tup][tup][tup] Its awsome!

That’s GREAT work. When do you plan to start your production line up?[:D][:D][:D]
Seriously, it’s very good stuff. Thanks for sharing it with us. - Ed

That’s great! Very nice job!

Outstanding work. I also make 1/24 scale models out of block wood. I am currently working on a CT155 BAe Hawk. Mike Grant was so gracious as to provide me with 1/24 scale decals for an excellent price. I can only dream that mine will turn out as good as yours. As “gregers” mentioned, keep them coming.

Very nice job… Walmart doesnt carry enough bandaids for me to carve something like that. Not to mention the forest I’d go through.
