I am new to this board but it looks to be very helpful. I am working a B-29 project and I nedd a new canopy[:(] I have noticed there isn’t a lot of after market stuff for the 29. Any help would be great.

There are alot of canopies out there in spares boxes. Someone will help, but you have to tell us what kit, what scale etc… Don’t worry buddy…

Sorry about that. It’s a Monogram 1:48 kit.
Just ask for a replacement on the Revell site - they will send it to you ‘no charge’ unlike Monogram who will charge you 5 bucks - it’s the same kit.

Where do you go on the revell site to get a missing or broken part, I searched all over it and couldnt find a link for missing parts.
If it was me, and I’ve done it before, just got to the RM site and order it. There is a cost of 3.00 to 5.00 depending on where you are. When I ordered my missing parts, the service was exceptional. And they arrived undamaged as well! I do have a spare nose piece for the B-29. Just don’t have the main canopy. If that helps.

That link is no help for Revell of Germany parts - you want this link http://www.revell.de/en/index.html and click on the contact tab. Email them with the current Revell kit number which is 5711 and the part number you need. They will take care of you right away.

You wouldn’t by any chance happen to have the part numbers as well would you? I, too, need both the main canopy part and the front nose glazing for the B-29.

hmmm too bad nobody has any thermaform plastic they can make the needed parts and ship them off to those who needs them.
Squadron offers a vac replacement for this kit now.
