Another of those unsung Vietnam COIN birds has been released by Roden in 1/48. Not the prettiest bird for sure, but impressive in its STOL capabilities and it was able to carry some firepower to boot. I don’t know if anyone heard of this kit coming down the pipe, ( I sure did not) but it will make a nice addition to my stash. Should look good by the OV-10 and OV-1 one day…
I never saw one of them armed! And all I ever saw were Air America planes used by the CIA; not the actually military.

Yes I had read of the Air America birds. Apparently this armed variant appeared at the time of the Easter Offensive in 1972.
