1/48 Armor GB II

Last year aroudn this time I started a 1/48 Armor GB. Any interest for another one this year?

Some who joined up the last one never completed theirs, so maybe here’s your chance to finish it up. 1/48 Armor has grown quite a bit in just 1 year with support not just from Tamiya and Hobbyboss - not to mention long time vendors like track48.

I would even expand it to 1/48th anything without wings - that would fit the Hobbyboss Landing craft or even the Hasegawa BMW 327 (I have both!). I’m thinking of starting small with a Tamiya Kurgane and/or the Italeri AB 41 AutoBlinda AB41.

I for one would be extremely intrested in joining this GB. 1/48 builds are nice and quick, so I probably could fit one in my schedule this year. Hope their is more intrest, if you do decide to start this GB, waikong, let me know.[;)]

Yeah, I’d do that. I’m a sucker for GB’s, and I’ve got a bunch of 1/48 stuff in the stash I’d like to bang out!

How long would this GB run for?I kinda like that Tamiya staff car.

I think I could fit one in,1/48 goes together pretty quick…would my Tamiya 2-1/2 ton GMC Truck qualify,or do you want strictly armor,cause I could probably come up with something else

Probably leaning towards the Hetzer…although I could be easily talked into the Cromwell or KV-2, I’m sure! [:D]

I would be interested, I have an Academy Merkava in the pile. It’s not the motorized one but the other.

I might pick up a different kit, like a Soviet subject.

Anthony, sure, Truck is okay, I’m doing a Japanese 4x4 afterall. Maybe I’l name it 1/48 Non-wing GB II.

Dupes, nice stash you have. The full interior, that’s the HobbyBoss kit? I have that one too and would love to build it.

Robert , The Merkava would be different - not too many modern armor in 1/48.
