A17-347’/347’ of No.10 Elementary Flying Training School, Royal Australian Air Force, RAAF Temora, New South Wales, 1940.
Another great kit from Airfix, easy build until the rigging anyway.
Decals are Extradecal, EZ line for rigging. Camouflage is painted with Mr. Hobby, AK Real Color and SMS. Also used Tamiya, Vallejo Metal Color, Flory Dark Dirt Wash, Mr. Color Semi Gloss super clear.

Dude…What do you live at your bench? Awesome build
Grant, I think that’s about the best this kit has ever looked! Elegant lines, great scheme, 1st-class build.
Love those ‘Empire’ training schemes!

A great model build, first rate all around. The prop looks really good, did you paint that? I like how well your rigging turned out, and the finish scheme is very nicely done.
Thanks for the post and photos.
Patrick
Prop is painted Patrick, spray base coat of wooden deck tan, than use oil paint like burnt umber with a brush and one motion run along prop, mine is to subtle, but it’s a tiny prop so doesn’t matter, but you are trying to leave “wood grain” effects wit the oil. Then spray Tamiya clear orange over it for a varnish look.
