My "HUEY is pretty standard, a Revell kit ,best chopper ever made,love the thumping sound of one passing overhead.
It is actually a 1/32 Revell kit. It looks pretty good, but Revell got the type wrong. The long-bodied Huey was never used by the US Army as a gunship. US gunships were all B and C model (short-body) Hueys. It should be a slick, armed w/the M23 doorgun system.

Right, that is why I said no US Army UH-1D/Hs were gunships.
The Aussie armed D/H model Hueys were known as Bushrangers. They were normally armed with an M134 minigun on the forward hardpoint, a 7-shot rocket launcher on the rear hard point, and dual-mounted M60 MGs on a pintle mount on each side.
I like it a lot Aussie Iron. I have the 1/35 Dragon kit in my stash. Looking forward to that build one day.
