1/35th scale armor/soft skin vehicles kits you would like to see released.

The 1942-45 Ford staff car would be a good subject for a 1/35th scale subject. It has been kitted in 1/72 and 1/48th scale but no 1/35th scale versions.

For softskins, a more common vehicle that has not been seen in a plastic kit is the Vietnam-era M54 series of 5-ton trucks. Also the later ('70s and '80s) M800 series 5-ton trucks.

For armor, how about a good M1 Abrams, M992 FAASV, M52 howitzer, M728 CEV, etc…

SA-10, S-300, ROLAND, US ARMY C-RAM (trailer or 8x8 HEMMT)

wheeled coastal defense SSms

SS-25, PLA DF-21 on wheeled TEL

SARACEN, M-578 ARV

M4A1 DD,

M578 Recovery Vehicle

M728 CEV (2nd on Heavy Arty’s suggestion)

FV 432 family

Most definatly. Accurate Armour has a 432 kit, but its resin and retails at over £90 or there abouts.

I think we can really use a brand new Tiger Tank [:D]

LVT-1, initially procured as a logistics vehicle the 1st AmTrac was very “thin-skinned”

LAV-300, a six wheel APC mounting a 90mm or UGWS-type turret and used by several militaries internationally along with law enforcement stateside

An M3 Lee used in North Africa.

U.S. M2A4 light tank, I believe the Marines used some on Guadalcanal.

Funy you should say that. I do believe that those built in the first week of Oct 1943 have yet to be produced.

CUCVs in injected plastic. Both the pick up and SUV style.

Hear, hear! There were a ton of them in the late Cold War. Maybe the old Dodge pickups (M880) too. And some more trailers - I’d love to see some modern generators. And more HEMMT variants, like that big Marine Corps container carrier.

I think I may have said this before but there’s still some fairly common Second World War French tanks and other AFVs that are only in resin and a lot of it that you can’t even get at all.

zIL punisher

As I’m only interested in Armor and Cobra helicopters at the moment:

  • The A34 Comet (or re-issue by Bronco)

  • T20-series American medium tank, specifically T23E3 and T23E4

  • T-44

[:D]

I’d like to see the M820A2 5 Ton with the expandable van.

Without a doubt, the M-715 weapons truck.

An actual A.F. M-706 commando car, not a V-150 disguising itself as a V-100:

An accurate and complete interior would be nice too.

A British MK Ii Crusader.

I would like to see Meng come out with a early M2A0 Bradley with the same level of detail as the M2A3 Tusk kits.

A good, accurate Merkava1, and even a -2 would be nice, either from Tamiya or Meng. I’d also like to see a good M60 slick, a modern M47, maybe an M48A- nothing, a proper HMMTT, and even a nice M3 Lee/Grant. Not much, I know…
