Does anyone have any suggestions on how to join the deck parts together without sanding away the scribed in deck detail? This next thing if for Jeff. Will the 1/350th scale North Carolina from Trumpeter be like all the others with the main deck in three separate parts? It seems that if they can mold a one piece hull they could mold a one piece main deck. [:)]
Here’s an idea. I haven’t tried it myself but you could just glue the three sections in place and buy the mini-wood strips like those used in wood ship models and create a real wood deck. That would cover the panel lines and add more realism to the model
