1/350 scale depth charges

I have to scratchbuild some depth charges to fill up some PE racks on one of my upcoming projects. Anybody know what size plastic rod would be appropriate for this?
Thanks,
Paul

Paul:
Royal Navy DC’s were 18" diameter, which makes them .051 in your scale, so .050, or 50 mil, rod would work fine.

Length was 28", or .080 in 350 scale, not counting the ballast weights when these were used, but I doubt these would show up in your scale.

Presumably someone can confirm if US DC’s were a similar size?
Bruce

Thanks for the info Bruce; I’m looking for the US Navy ones. I’m building the Iron Shipwright PC-461 “subchaser”.

.050 rod does look like a good starting point, though.
