Picked up the Moebius 1/350 Discovery XD-1 from 2001: A Space Odyssey at a local swap meet for $20. Amazing amount of detail for such a small kit!
Decided to purchase the Pod Bay interior set offered by Paragrafix. Printed up some homemade decals; think they turned out pretty good!

Wow, that’s pretty amazing work you have done there! I had to remind myself that the kit is 1/350 scale - that’s like building a locker room in an aircraft carrier model! You are doing a super job! I hope the rest of the kit lives up to your abilities, especially the external modules!

It would be cool if you had a tiny red LED for HAL9000’s eye in there on that computer console.
Yes, the Pod Bay will be lit up. It also comes with 3 Pods printed in clear, so I’m going to attempt to light one of them.
