1/35 Trumpeter Mil Mi-24V Hind-E Helicopter

With all the great building going on in the helicopter build thread I do not want this question to step on any great work. Instead I have a simple question;

Has anyone in the forum purchased or built the Trumpeter 1/35 Mil Mi-24V Hind-E Helicopter?

I have not had much success using the search function in the forum so I thought I would just ask…

Several years ago I saw a link to purchase a 1/18 version but it was extremely limited and extremely expensive. This looks like the largest scale plastic kit (I do not want to build an R/C scale Hind).

If somebody has this kit, please let me know what you think of her…

I have the 1/48 kit and it looks beautiful.

There is a hellicopter forum within the “model subjects” catagory. I’d ask in that forum.

I think everone ought to look at the list of forums periodically. There are some gems there that many people are not aware of, like the “airbush and painting” forum. And new forums get added periodically.

If you type in finescale modeler followed by whatever you are looking for in a google search, you will have a better time looking for what you want.

Yes, I have one but not built it yet. It is a large kit and looks pretty detailed. It has different types of armament load out and decals for two different aircraft from Cartograf. it says it has 468 pieces.
