Well I’m getting there. I finally did a wash and drybrushing. I put the decals on today. Only thing left to do is add some dirt to blend the tracks in.
I did paint the hatchs OD as suggested in my previous post. The decals are a little thick so if you have curves that they need to conform to it is a little difficult. Alot of Micro Sol is needed to keep em from silvering and making sure they lay down good.

looks great Joe. I just finished the same kit in the same scheme. Those decals weren’t easy, especially the stripe. One quick question, was the 34 part of the kit decals? I didn’t add that…I think I missed it. Oops

Jason, that was a nice build, yeah the 34 is a kit decal. I noticed I forgot the lights.[:I]
Brian, I had to hand paint that one and yes it was a pain. I was surprised I could match the yellow. I almost hand painted the rest of the yellow but I wasn’t that ambitious.

Very nice job on the Stuart. I’m currently working on the same kit & plan to do it in the same scheme. Past experience with Academy decals leads me to think I will mask & spray the Yellow stripes as well as the mantle.
