Does anyone know of a 1/35 conversion kit to change the Army/Air Force H-60’s into the Navy/Caost Guard versions? Has anyone tried it?
I’d love to build a Jayhawk - I’ve looked at various aftermarket kits for parts, but the pylons are what has kept me from doing it, as well as the interior work.
Same for the Seahawk - the anti-sub versions are great.
I have some referrences but I can’t seem to get a good sense of the shape and location of the pylons on the seagoing versions

Unfortunately, there are no conversion kits out there. Here is an article at Aircraft Resource Center by Jan M. Visser where he made an HH-60H from the Academy MH-60L DAP kit. It looks great and is definitely an inspiration.

On a side not, there have been rumors from a reliable source that Academy is supposed to be releasing an MH-60S Naval version too. Lets hope it is soon. It would be a welcome addition as well.
It would be great if it was an SH-60B or F Seahawk. I suspect it will be a CH-60S which use the Army type of landing gear - in fact this picture shows the prototype CH-60S with its Army cabin and Navy parts - Kind of like a 1:1 model.

If it is a SH-60B/F/R a JayHawk would be a fairly easy change.
Now If I could only find the HH-60T (new armed Coast Guard configuration) pictures

MH-60S is actually in the fielding stages now. It is the same basic Army MH-60L with a few more sensors and the fitting for a FLIR mount on the nose. No idea what differances there are on the internal layout though.

At www.helikitnews.com there is a 1/35 SH-60B converted from a Blackhawk. It was done by Colin Russell. He did a fine job converting it too! Go to HKN Gallery, modellers name catagory, type in Colin Russell, then go to SH-60B 1/35. Pete Brown
Just go to “Colin Russell” @ HKN, no need to type it in. Pete
Hey, looks great. He did an excellent job.

Here is a direct link as well.
I seem to remember Chris “Chief Snake” Miller, from Cobra Company, mentioning a while ago that he had someone working on the masters for a 1/35 SH-60B conversion set. Any progress, Chris???
