Is there any way to convert or kitbash Cobra’s in 1/35 scale to make a AH-1S? Has anyone doe this in this scale at all?
Only way I know would be to scratch-build, no 1/35th scale S models on the market or conversions that I know about. Easy way would be to use the Revell G model and do an early S model
I know John a.k.a Cobrahistorian started a conversion for an S. I dont think he finished it though.
Yep, I’m about 75% finished with the conversion. Things have gotten in the way of me finishing it, but it will get done before the end of the year! (along with all 20 other builds I’ve got going now!)
I basically used the Revell kit and scratchbuilt the conversion with sheet styrene and plastic strip. Trying to figure out the window panes now!
