1/35 Ratel, Buffel, G6, Rooikat ... ????

Hi all,

What about SADF armored stuff in 1/35 ? I am especially interested in the Ratel 20, Ratel 90, G6 Rhino… But no kits around ?

Is there any Olifant Mk1a in injected styrene ?

Can anyone help ? at least give info ?

Don’t know of any of these in plastic. There may have been a Ratel (I think) in resin by someone, can’t remember who though. Sorry, not much help, but it may give you somewhere to start.

I’d love to see kits of any of those particularly the Rooikat but as far as I know they don’t exist.

The Oliphant is a modfied Centurian so there may be a conversion kit available in resin, a scratch build conversion seems like it wouldn’t be too hard but I’m not sure what would be needed.

I’ve heard that there is a resin Rooikat in 1/76 scale but have never seen it. I don’t know of anything in resin or plastic for the rest. I could probably find some of these in metal for wargaming but that would be 1/100 or smaller scale.

If they existed I would have built them [:)]
