1/35 nationalist Spain tank crew

I’ve seen some people use 1/35 French early war tank crew figures as Spanish nationalist Tank crew figures, would using British early war tank crews in say a leather coat and a beret be usable as well?

Sorry for the late reply and hopefully the information is still relevant. “Spanish Civil War Tanks” by Steve Zaloga (Osprey New Vanguard series) shows several photos of beret and leather clad tankers with the armor units. I’m sure leather jackets were great during the fall/winter engagements, especially in Northern Spain. Did show color shots of the vehicles but did not show color photos of the crews. The berets appear very dark and probably were black. Also, and not joking, remember the moustaches. Most photos show stylish tankers.

Thanks for the reply, it’s still relevant. I eventually will build this scene. Currently prepping to begin a 1/16 Nationalist Breda tank, wondering if there are any 1.16 figures that would fit the bill.
