1/35 Miniart dio' buildings.

I was in my LHS yesterday and came across five 1/35th scale dio’ buildings, the corners of ruined buildings just like most of them in the pictures on this forum. Just wondering if they are good for beginners and are easy/ier to get realistic finishes on. If so, I might get one for my second or third dio’. Still haven’t gotten around to planning my first. Anyone got pictures of buildings from this manufacturer?

Cheers

I built my first Miniart building, the Normandy City House, which I used in my " Seem’s awfully quiet don’t you think" dio. It was quite easy to build as long as you sand the edges to be joined. You get a lot of accesories also most you won’t use, so good for the spare’s box. If you go to the Miniart website, there is a “How to build” tutorial, which is quite good.

Just a few of the Normandy house, I added the wall paper myself

I just bought a pair {direct from Dragon models in California } I have not built them yet, my biggest complaint is that they only make them in 1/35, I would love them to make some in 1/48

My advice is to make your own buildings/ruins from scratch. You’ll get exactly the results you want and it will be different from everyone else’s diorama.

when I have your mad skills I will, but think of this as baby steps[swg]

I am working my way up to my own buildings, so far desert and mud holes no buildings yet.

I think I will need to do my own since I am trying to duplicate a picture eek![sigh]

i don’t like vacuform models

these are really thick and not like vacuform except the huge flash [swg]
