1/35 MAUS tracks, pigments.

Hello everyone.
I’m currently working on a tank called the Maus. I’m sure you all have heared of it.
I’m now up to adding pigments to the tracks. I have added some Europe dust from Mig to the tracks without pigment fixer. I think it has a much better effect if the fixer is not applied. But what i want to know is what should i add to the tracks. Is plain europe dust enough? What colour from mig would be best to add? Dark mud? light dust? The list goes on. I want the tracks to look as if it has been driving around. But it was going to be used in berlin. So i gess i want that ‘‘city, road dust’’ effect if that makes sence. Some advice would be nice thanks.
Callum.

Berlin sits on pale sand, so a pallette from:

pale sands, dust, paler sandstones, red-brick dust, dark grey cobblestones, concrete & plain simple dirt would suit. [:)]

Use a variety, and apply them irregularly. Focus on lighter colors (Europe dust might be on the darker side for what you want). Monochromatic tracks look very unrealistic-- apply the pigments randomly for variety… and post some pics when you finish or if you need advice!
