1:35 M4A1 Tasca/Eduard completed

Hello everybody!

It’s been about 30 years since I’ve built a Sherman and even then it was 1:72, so I’ve wanted to do one for a long time and now it’s done. Built almost straight OOB and the kit was great, fit- as well as detail-wise. Painted with mainly with Humbrols and Games Workshop acrylics:

Very cool Sherman. It looks great. Beautiful .50 cal on top. Who makes that, or did it come with the kit?

Have you ever shown your work,I don’t recall.Excellent job, really like the subtle weathering and the stowage.

Nice Job! Great finish/weathering and I dig all the stowage. More tanks from you Mr Pawel!

GREAT JOB!!! Bill

Hello Gentlemen!

Thanks a lot for your kind words! They mean a lot to me.

If you would like to see more of my work there’s some to see on these forums (google search works best), but I would also be honoured if you visited my web page: www.vietnam.net.pl (look under exhibits)

M1GarandFan - MaDeuce is a Tasca product, with a few PE parts that also come with the kit as part of the Eduard boxing. That Eduard boxing is a very good value for money because of that large PE sheet.

Thanks again and have a nice day

Amazing job there Pawel!!! Love the storage and the overall grungy dirty look of the tank!

Excellent work and very convincing weathering. Definately one to be proud of and an inspiration.

That turned out very sharp Pawel! Although I am a bit surprised that you did not finish this in colors and markings for French Indochina. [;)]

Hello again!

Thank you very much for your comments and for your kind words.

stik - nah, for a change I wanted a true WWII classic!

Have a nice day

NOW!

That Sir, is one fine looking M-4-A-1!!

Pawel, my friend! Good to see you’re still in the hobby.

Excellent job you’ve done on this kit! That weathering is really nice and the details are superb.

I wish I could say I’ve been as prolific lol. Most I’ve accomished is building a base for my armor subjects.

TB, Mike - thanks a lot for your kind words!

Mike - I’m building models since about 1986 and I don’t intend to stop as long as there still some life left in me  I wouldn’t say I was very prolific though… But that M4 was such a nice kit it gave me new energy…

Thanks again and have a nice day
