1/35 IDF 'Shimira' Completed

Completed 5 years ago. A very good kit but unfortunately, there is no IDF figure in this kit.

That’s unusual… In a good way! There’s a lot of color in the cracks, and the darker crevases look really cool. There’s a lot of tonal variation in the color, which is very good. In my opinion, the white on the seats, ammo boxes and wheels is a little intense, and the wood on the tools looks a bit monochrome. However, everything else, especially the wear and scratching, has style to it.

I try to use my imagination of Middle East condition… The fine sandy and abit muddy condition.

So the seat looks collected lots of sand dust.

Neat build.

Having been “up close and personal” with this particular variant in that particular region I’d have to say the seats and weapons would be the only thing without dust. Constant in and out by the troops would keep the dust off the seats and the weapons speak for themselves.

Yes, I know what you’re saying… All I’m saying is that pigments (as opposed to paints) would have been a bit better for this application. The paints can occasionally look too intense in color, and can have very sharp edges (ammo container)… I’m just making a suggestion for improvement, but it is a very fantastic built. Its colors have a ton of depth!

Haha… Anyway thanks! [:)]
