The ‘paint before build’ technique was a first for me, but it came out OK in the end. Once the main scheme was on, there was a strip left along the top and bottom joints. After construction, these strips were sprayed in the same colours - dark on top and the light grey underneath. A little weathering was needed to blend the whole finish together. As for the bald pilot … I like something a little different! My apologies to Czech Hind pilots - it appears that there are NO pilots who look like that flying the Hind!!!

Thanks for your kind words, chaps! Much of the extra added detail cannot be seen in the photos - especially in the cockpit, rear cabin, passageway and U/C bays. Still, I know its there!
