1:35 DUKW

I would really like to see one of the new companies, or even the mainstay companies, come out with a new tooled DUKW kit in 1:35 scale. I picked up the Italeri kit a while back, for a good price. Any hope in finding another decently priced kit is getting very difficult. I saw one on Amazon for $172.00 and another over 200 bucks!

I was top bidder on ebay for this kit but missed it because it went off when I was sleeping, went for $52…[cnsod]. Bidding on one more but have little hope in winning.

Seems like the DUKW is a popular subject…here`s hoping some company comes to the rescue!

If there’s a model contest near you, go, even if you don’t enter anything. You never know what might be lurking on a vendor’s table.
