Looks like you are off to a pretty good start. Just a note though, the Academy UH-60 kits are all 1/35, not 1/32.

An update, I wanted to add a couple of fire extinguishers and axes. So I grabbed this extinguisher from the 1070 tractor truck kit to make a cast. I’m using a pressure casting setup but the air escape lines need to be good for these small parts. I use oil based clay to seal up the mold. This approach took a while to work out, I don’t use the gear very often, but is good for large casts or small pieces like this.

This is the vacuum chamber I use to degas the silicon. The silcon expands to 4 times its size so for larger part this chamber is very useful.

I have some way out of date resin I’m using but it does the job. This stuff is normally white in colour.

I should have done this earlier but some how, like putting a ship in a bottle or something, I maneuvered the new parts into position. I also scratch built this green pack seen between the gunner seats, not sure what it is exactly. But the interior is starting to look busy and realistic looking.

I can only speak for US Blackhawks but the pack between the gunner’s seats is quite possibly a survival kit. It is also common for flyaway gear to be stowed in a kit bag between the seats as well. It is quite a useful space and all kinds of things get stowed there in addition to these.

Nice work so far! I really like this kit, I can only pick nits with it. There are a few things that can be easily tweaked but not really noticeable unless you know to look. I’ll have to not be such a stranger an follow this along. Let me know if you need any references, I don’t really have anything on the Aussie birds but info on the S-70 airframe is no problem.
