1/32 Tornado Jet and 1/35 M2A2 Bradley Diorama

Thanks for all the posts and words of encouragement under my “What’s happening to me?” post everyone.

My question now is this:

I have an unbuilt 1/32 scale Revell Tornado jet kit and now I have the unbuilt M2A2 Bradley kit in 1/35 scale. Both pieces of hardware were operational in the Gulf War.

Not having much of a head for figures, if I were to combine both pieces of hardware in to the same diorama would the differing scales make the whole thing look stupid? Would the differences in scale be that noticeable?

Oh Gods of the ‘Dark Side’ - please help me once again along my journey to spiritual enlightenment!

Bob

I am no expert but my thoughts…

I think the difference is minimal. If you put a space between them…I guess it would be very hard to guess that they are of different scales.

Go for it and good luck.

I wouldn’t hesistate to combine the two scales Bob, the only thing I wouldn’t do is combine 1/35 and 1/32 figures, as that looks a little kooky oompa loompa-ish!

Agree 100% with the others … it can be done. With the Tornado towards the back of the scene you will achieve forced perspective.

Thanks for that Dwight, Matt and Robert. I’ll get cracking and post pics as I progress.

Regards,

Bob
